So we've been having an interesting medical time around our house lately. With Arianna shaking, tensing, and clenching, it hasn't been fun. My fibromyalgia has been through the roof, Matt can't concentrate, and Arianna well...what toddler sleeps well. Woot for sleep deprived goodness! So here we are. The goal: rid the house of gluten. Eat as much as you can! Counter productive? Yeah. Probably.
We started doing once a month cooking in August. So far, it has done us well. We use onceamonthmom.com and ended up cooking "gluten free" for the month of November. We have yet to touch it. My endoscopy is scheduled for December 6th. So, until then, we'll be eating the gluten that is left in our house. As of December 6th, we will all be gluten free. Whether or not by biopsy comes back positive, I plan to stay gluten free for awhile. I want to see if it makes me better. We'll see. As for Matt, it's supposed to help with attention issues...or perhaps he's just a regular guy ;) With Arianna, we're just not sure yet. She has some signs of it, but she's still so little.
Also-bunny's ear is coming off. "bunny" is her lovey. bunny is gross. It doesn't matter if I wash bunny, bunny is still gross. I guess we'll need to buy a new bunny. Perhaps if I stay more "on top" of washing him, he won't look like a bear attacked him? bah...the end of nap. Further updates as we move through our de-glutening to come!
